The Israeli ambassador to the United States of America, Yechiel Leiter, wrote on his account via “X”: “Today, Iran launched 11 ballistic missiles towards Israel.” He added, "Each one of these missiles can destroy an entire neighborhood and cause the death of hundreds of people. No self-respecting country in the world can tolerate an attack of this kind, and Israel will not be an exception." He continued, "Israel is currently targeting Iranian surface-to-surface missile launch sites, in addition to infrastructure facilities not related to the energy sector." He added, "The Lebanese people have rejected what Israel describes as Iran's proxy, that is, Hezbollah, and have demanded that Iran leave their country. If Hezbollah fires on Israel, its leadership centers in the suburb will be subjected to severe blows." Leiter concluded, "This matter is not only related to Iran. Everyone is tired of this Iranian regime, which Israel describes as reckless and extremist."
